What you write stays there unless you send it out — by syncing, by asking a cloud model, or by reporting an answer. Cloud sync is optional and always under your control. With end-to-end encryption, everything you sync is encrypted on your device before it goes anywhere — only your devices hold the key, not our server.

Drop files into your knowledge library and Pia turns them into knowledge it can recall — you see exactly what it learned, and you can pull any source back out. Nothing stays in memory against your wishes. You can also attach files to any chat. The memory itself sits on your own disk as plain text: browsable, editable, yours.
Pia joins Teams meetings, transcribes live speaker by speaker, and writes a summary you can keep. Live-transcribe the room around you entirely on-device, behind a spoken consent gate. Or just talk — voice conversation mode takes turns and uses tools.
